A Silicon Design Engineer is needed for an American multinational technology company that develops, manufactures, licenses, supports, and sells computer software, consumer electronics, personal computers, and related services in the Redmond, WA (hybrid) area. This role is for a senior verification engineer focused on UVM-based test bench development, test planning, debugging, and independent problem-solving for pre-silicon hardware verification.

work hours: 8am to 5pm

responsibilities:

• Understand complex architecture specs and write/review test plans.

• Develop UVM-based test benches from scratch (including sequences, scoreboards, coverage, assertions).

• Block-level and SoC-level debugging.

• Implement DPI calls for reference C model checks in scoreboards.

• Develop UVM agents, including monitors and drivers.

• strong verification mindset.

• Ability to work independently and solve problems without much guidance.

Experience: 8+ years in the field.

Degree/Certification: None required, experience is key.
