CSCP is responsible for strategic sourcing, customer demand forecasting, capacity planning and management, supply chain planning and execution, capacity provisioning, and decommissioning and dispositioning of datacenter assets worldwide.
Cloud Manufacturing Operations and Fulfilment (CMOF) organization within CSCP manages sourcing and supply of IT hardware for the data centers. Well-defined and executed sourcing and supply chain management ensures reliable on-time performance, optimized cost, prevents urgent and unplanned investments, and provides accurate and timely information across the supply base and internally across the infrastructure organization. The role of Senior Supply Chain New Product Introduction (NPI) Program Manager will be responsible for our CSCP 'Pilot to Growth NPI initiative', which will enable us to better manage product ramp to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will be working on managing the end-to-end supply chain for new Artificial Intelligence (AI) related product(s). The primary focus will be engaging with new product teams to ensure seamless transition, with product group &; capacity planning teams for designing supply chain to meet customer requirements and driving execution excellence to meet operational targets. Specific duties would include:
Represent supply chain organization in mission control / NPI meetings, and help design scalable supply chain operations
Partner with Product Group and Capacity planning to understand mid-and-long-term business needs / forecast, align on material prepositioning strategies / risk buys with Component planning teams to reduce lead times
Manage supply operations, execute prepositioning strategies in partnership with component planning, finished goods planning, factory operations and order fulfilment teams
Partner with sourcing and supply chain strategy on building optimal supply chain designs
Partner with sourcing team on optimizing supply chain cost, with quality team on improving product quality, and with HW engineering on software/firmware change management
Partner with planning teams to develop / execute launch and end-of-life plans for product and component transitions
Define key metrics, Rhythm of Business (RoB) for NPI products after aligning with stakeholders and report out supply chain performance, progress on projects on periodic basis
Identify and lead initiatives for process improvements in product supply chain
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Hardware Engineering or related field AND 5+ years experience in technical engineering, manufacturing, operations, hardware development
OR equivalent experience in technical engineering, manufacturing, operations or a related area.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Hardware Engineering or related field AND 8+ years experience in technical engineering, manufacturing, operations, hardware development
OR Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Hardware Engineering or related field AND 6+ years experience in technical engineering, manufacturing, operations, hardware development
OR equivalent experience in technical engineering, manufacturing, operations or a related area.
8 years in supply chain supporting hardware development
Experience with Cloud/ AI related high tech HW or supply chain is a plus
Experience in leading large-scale programs, and a proven track record of successfully setting up and executing supply chain operational processes
Experience in working with global and cross-functional internal and external teams in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and organizational skills
Influencing skills and ability to build relationships across multiple layers in the organization
Ability to lead in ambiguous situations, and deal effectively with conflicting priorities and changes
Proficient in business tools (e.g. word, power point slides), and ability to generate quality outputs
NPI Product Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.
