We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect with technical and functional expertise and experience in the successful delivery of Dynamics 365 implementation services in complex and challenging environments.

As a Senior Solution Architect in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 team , you will deliver services to our customers and partners, in addition to achieving the customers’ target adoption goals. This opportunity will allow you to work on the most complex large global Dynamics 365 ERP implementations, driving our customers’ implementation towards success and making them raving fans of our products and services. You will influence customer and partner key project stakeholders and sponsors to maximize the best use of their investments, while working closely alongside our engineering teams, opening a direct feedback channel for our customers and partners needs leading into best fit of future product features and capabilities.

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 engineering team is growing the FastTrack program to keep up with the demand of our growing service. The program aims to support our customers in their implementation journey moving to Dynamics 365 cloud and we will help drive delivery of the full value of their investment. Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver FastTrack’s customer and partner experience.

  • Provide architectural guidance and advice to proactively help key customers and partner project stakeholders to identify and mitigate risk to ensure project success.

  • Improve the FastTrack for Dynamics 365 experience by identifying and working with other colleagues within Microsoft to get product features built, processes implemented, policies changed, and capturing supporting data.

  • Evangelize the FastTrack Program to others inside Microsoft including field sales staff, technical support, engineering, and most importantly to our Partners and Customers.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 4+ years experience in software industry experience related to technology

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • Proven Dynamics 365 implementation experience in end-to-end ERP projects in various capacities such as Architect, Functional or Technical Lead

  • In-depth experience in delivering Dynamics 365 Solutions on any or combination of Dynamics 365 Apps such as Dynamics 365 Finance, Dynamics 365 Human Resources and/or Dynamics 365 Project Operations and Power Platform experience including Power Automate, Power Apps, and/or Power BI

Other Requirements

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check. This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Math, Business, OR related field and extensive experience in engineering, product/technical program management, software implementation, or product development

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • Solid domain skills in one of the following – Finance, Professional Services, Public Sector, Distribution or Manufacturing

  • Effective understanding of Azure technologies in the areas of Integration, Networking, Monitoring, Security

  • Solid knowledge and demonstrated technical proficiency in adjacent technologies including one or more of the following: M365, Power BI, Microsoft Azure technologies, Microsoft Fabric, App Insights etc. (certifications a plus)

  • Solid problem-solving ability ranging from conceptualization to implementation.

  • Experience with handling ambiguity while striving for clarity and having the motivation and willingness to lead positive changes and clarifications that affect the business.

  • Story Telling: demonstrated ability to create narratives that are targeted at partners and customers on an emotional level, delivering outcomes and a call to action.

  • Demonstrated effective customer service skills, effective oral and written communication skills, proven ability to handle difficult and sensitive situations involving the most critical and politically charged customer situations that involve CXO’s to end users.

  • Solid leadership acumen with demonstrated success in "engaging virtual teams" with ability to influence and motivate others and ensure results.

Customer Experience Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
