We are looking for someone who is very hands-on, who can figure out new technologies and can build out initial investigations and POCs and then own/contribute the final design and development of the product/app.

The candidate should have experience deploying solutions to the Open-Source community and maintaining these solutions while ensuring security and compliance is always met.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:

  • Work as part of a results-oriented, data-driven team that embraces experimentation

  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers and partner teams to deliver a set of features

  • Deploy updates to the Open-Source community

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Design counterparts to design and implement new features from 0 -> 1.

  • Maintain high code standards regarding quality, privacy, security, documentation.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C#, Java, TypeScript, or Python

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 2 + years experience in cloud technologies and platforms 

  • Experience with front-end human interactionsUser Experience (UX) engineering

  • Experience with real-time multimodal interactions

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C#, Java, TypeScript, or Python, React, HTML Canvas, Media Pipe.

  • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C#, Java, TypeScript, or Python

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence

  • Application Programming Interfaces Frameworks

  • Demonstrated ability to define and deliver platforms from concept to production and Open-Source

  • Experience with, including but not limited to, WebGL, Unity, Processing, OpenFrameworks, TensorFlow

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.
