We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join us! As part of the Dynamics 365 engineering organization, our team delivers business applications for Connected Customer Care – empowering contact centers to support end users reaching out for help through Live Chat, Phone Call as well as various Digital Social Messaging Channels. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of cloud services that power our Business applications & Industry cloud vertical applications and solutions leveraging the power of Power Platform, Microsoft 365, Office 365, and Azure. Our product builds on telecommunication platforms, integrates speech and text AI (Artificial Intelligence) services, and delivers end-to-end experiences through phone, web portals, and Teams. Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance software and infrastructure for large-scale Business SaaS applications. 

  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using industry best practices and coding standards.  

  • Tackle ambiguity, create clarity for the team, generate energy in execution, identify and communicate risks throughout all stages of the software development lifecycle. 

  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, designers, and engineers from diverse engineering teams to solve problems. 

  • Be Accountable for the quality, usability & performance of design, implementation, schedule, delivery, of your team and services.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

  • OR equivalent experience.

       

Other Requirements:   

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:  

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.  

       

Preferred/Additional Qualifications:    

  • Prior experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in object-oriented languages  

  • Knowledge of end-to-end Software development lifecycle  

  • Experience with cloud and services or Azure is highly desirable

  • Data-driven mind-set, ability to mine data and coach your team using effective analysis

  • Ability to communicate technical details clearly across organizational boundaries 

  • Proficient analytical skills with systematic and structured approach to software design 

  • Passion for building highly scalable, highly reliable services

      

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.
