Microsoft Corporation Senior Software Engineer in Redmond, Washington

Be a founding member on a new team. Build the full stack. Center around AI. Impact Microsoft’s biggest businesses.

Our incubation focuses on helping people across their work and life. Without giving away the details, we are pushing AI to help people achieve their goals across their activities. We are not constrained by the boundaries of existing products, and partner with teams ranging from research to clients and services. We expect to create new experiences as well as influence multiple existing ones, including Outlook, Office, Edge, and more.

You will be self-motivated, highly collaborative, and a clear communicator. You will have a rare ability to get to the essence of things, an acute attention to detail while moving fast, and a real passion for crafting captivating end-user experiences quickly. You will thrive in an environment with high levels of ambiguity, considerable freedom to balance constraints as you get things done.

Imagine working daily where you can see the results of and refine your work immediately, rather than after a long build and release process. Imagine learning about new technology, code, and architecture as part of your daily work, rather than in your free time. Imagine having direct control over improving your engineering process and tools, your project, and your team. Imagine having coworkers whose most important values are respect, curiosity, engineering excellence, fun, and family. If this sounds like your kind of team, we would love to help you live this experience.
