Providence St. Joseph Health Senior Software Engineer Fullstack - DIG - *Remote* in Redmond, Washington
Description This role is 100% remote. We are currently unable to hire in the following states: CO, NY, PA, HI, MA and OH. A senior level role for the Software Development Engineer, Fullstack job family. You are a seasoned, experienced, fully functioning member of the software web development team. You understand and apply a wide variety of concepts, practices and procedures of software engineering, and can resolve a wide range of issues with front end and back end web development in creative ways. At this level, you are a specialist in at least one area of fullstack development. You mentor other engineers. You set and meet commitments, deadlines, and high standards for the team. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, Information Science, Software Engineering, Software Development, or other related scientific or engineering fields. Or equivalent educ/experience. 6 years Developing software for front end and back end systems including several of JavaScript, Java, C#, Python. 6 years Working with frontend JavaScript SPA and state handling frameworks such as React, AngularJS, EmberJS, Redux, along with HTML5 and CSS. 6 years Working with backend frameworks such as Node.js, and related experience with cloud services platforms such as AWS, including relational and non-relational databases. Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, Information Science, Software Engineering, Software Development, or other related scientific or engineering fields. Or equivalent educ/experience. 2 years Configuring continuous integration and deployment systems, on Kubernetes or with containers. Why Join Providence?
