Otak Inc. Senior Project Manager/Engineer in Redmond, Washington

Otak is currently seeking to hire a Senior Project Manager/Engineer to join our Water and Natural Resources team in our Redmond or Everett, WA office. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting our project and business development efforts across several service areas including urban stormwater treatment/management, conveyance, green stormwater infrastructure, flood hazard mitigation, surface water planning, fish passage, stream and river restoration, and natural systems design.

Our team of engineers and scientists possesses extensive expertise in various fields, including surface water management planning and design, water quality, wetland science, fluvial geomorphology, ecology, botany, and aquatic biology. We produce comprehensive technical reports that meticulously document environmental baseline conditions, meeting and surpassing regulatory reporting standards for permitting and compliance requirements at the local, county, state, and federal levels.

What you'll do:

  • Facilitate business development, training, project delivery process, and operational needs.
  • Prepare technical approaches/scope, schedule, and budgets for proposals.
  • Provide technical excellence and guidance in the areas of stormwater management design, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, and fish passage and stream restoration design.
  • Manage Water Resources planning and design projects, including workload planning and overseeing financials, schedule, deliverables, and quality control.
  • Supervise and mentor project staff responsible for design calculations, technical reports, design drawings and specifications.
  • Direct and oversee the preparation of watershed studies, hydrologic and hydraulic design reports, and construction documents.
  • Collaborate with Otak's Transportation, Structures, Urban Planning, and Architecture business units.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience, qualifications, and work location as well as market and business considerations.

$125,000 - $150,000 per year
