Job Summary:

GENERAL SUMMARY/PRIMARY FUNCTION

Responsible for understanding, upholding and promoting CSG’s Critical Success Factors, 1) Safety First!; 2) Financial Success (including operational excellence); 3) Employee Satisfaction (including development and training), and 4) Customer Satisfaction. Promote Pride Electric/OEG’s Core Values, safety culture and Continuous Process Improvement (CPI). Primary duties include: providing overall project management support for several small to medium projects or on one very large project. Provide overall supervision and technical management on construction project sites from bid preparation through job close out documentation to the customer. The Sr. Project Manager shall be responsible for all the following tasks and actions. They may choose to delegate to more appropriate persons on their team, however they ultimately are responsible.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Provides safety leadership

• Contract administration

• Project set-up

• Site labor coordination and scheduling

• Budgeting and estimating

• Documentation/submittals/O & M’s

• Coordinate purchasing and sub-contracts

• Production tracking

• Quality control/quality assurance

• Project cost control and billing

• Project cost to complete/forecasting

• Project change orders

• Project closeout

• Internal/external communication

• Perform additional duties as assigned

KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Strong management skills. Excellent human relations skills and ability to maintain confidentiality

• Demonstrated financial analytical skills

• Excellent oral and written communications skills

• Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office

• Tactful and has professional demeanor, and ability to interact effectively with manager, employees, vendors and others

• Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player

• Ability to understand and follow standard operating policies and procedures

• Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance

• Opportunity for travel may be available

Minimum Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Requires the knowledge of electrical construction and theory at a level normally acquired through the completion of a five-year electrical apprentice program. Valid driver’s license required.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Three to five years’ experience in a project management position in construction industry. Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or other related discipline or equivalent experience.

Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
