Microsoft Corporation Senior Program Manager in Redmond, Washington

We’ve all heard Satya say that Microsoft is building an intelligent cloud and intelligent edge. We’ll enable people to have natural experiences with technology, and those experiences will brought to life by application developers across the globe. But, who builds these magically experiences? How do we make sure their idea is brought to life in the fastest possible time? How do we gracefully hand hold them through the process without forcing them to learn about a bunch of Identity protocols and gobbledygook again, and again, and again? At the heart of Microsoft’s future is enabling developers to build deeply personal experience, and that’s what we do. Interested?

The Microsoft Identity team is looking for a Senior PM to join our team. You will work directly on building experiences that enable developers to build applications for not just the Microsoft platform of Windows, Xbox & HoloLens, but also iOS, Android, IOT, Linux and the Web. Frankly any platform that our billions of users interact with on a daily basis is our playground, from Payroll applications to Gears of War, they all start with a developer wanting to build Identity into their product and access the user’s data. You’ll make it possible for developers to effortlessly build applications and bring all the amazing and crazy ideas they have.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be paired with developers who own both client and services technologies and application management experiences. You’ll deliver solutions for multiple Microsoft products while working in a close team-oriented environment. You’ll learn how to be sensitive to the needs of your partner teams and develop shared goals that support win/win results for our customers and product groups. There really is a ton of cross group work, so you must be great at creating and maintaining warm and productive working relationships across disciplines and the company. There is also a lot of deep identity and security technology in this job, so some familiarity is a plus. Even more important is a passion for technology and an ability to learn, identify the real problems, and guide teamwork to deliver great solutions.

The Microsoft Identity team is a tight-knit community of engineers who are committed to understanding our customers, respecting their privacy and keeping them safe. Our aim is to be the best and most successful identity service in the world while enabling all Microsoft products to benefit from our investments.

If this sounds like the right environment for you please join us!
