Responsibilities

  • Develop Technical Product Strategies : You will be responsible for identifying customer needs, analyzing trends, combining your technical experience with your product knowledge, and develop product roadmaps that align with Xbox’s vision and strategy.

  • Execute on Product Development: Write clear and concise product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for new and existing features. Additionally, you conduct internal testing, A/B testing, and analyze production data to validate hypotheses and measure the impact of features.

  • Think Creatively and Drive Innovation : Think creatively and deliver on new ideas, constantly striving to improve and innovate. You will be responsible for identifying new product opportunities and developing innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

  • Deliver High-quality Results : You will be responsible for ensuring that our products are delivered on schedule, maximizing team efficiency, and meeting the highest standards of quality and reliability.

  • Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams : You will work collaboratively with others, leveraging cross-group collaboration to achieve success. This includes internal and external partners in fast-paced, long lead areas.

  • Communicate Clearly : Communicate the product vision, value proposition, and roadmaps to internal and external teams to gaming, including upper-level leadership. You will regularly engage with partners to provide roadmap/progress updates against commitments.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • Proven track record of shipping large-scale software products/services, preferably in cloud platforms or streaming technologies.

  • Solid technical background and foundation in software or platform engineering principles.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • Proven experience in the ability to plan and execute on long term complex partner facing initiatives in an ambiguous environment.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with rapidly changing requirements.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Proficient cross-team collaboration skills.

  • Passion for the consumer and entertainment space – you don’t have to love games, but you do have to like them!

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
