​​Within Azure Data, the Microsoft Fabric platform team builds and maintains the operating system and provides customers a unified data stack to run an entire data estate. The platform provides a unified experience, unified governance, enables a unified business model and a unified architecture. ​

​​Within Azure Data, the Fabric Platform team drives development of core/fundamental features and a robust platform that drives administration, governance, and monitoring capabilities.

​​We are on the lookout for a seasoned and motivated Senior Product Manager to drive core platform development for administration and governance areas. The perfect candidate will be committed to understanding customer needs, passionate about leveraging data for decision-making, and focused on crafting end-to-end experiences throughout the portfolio.

  • ​​Deliver a world-class product with exceptional user experience to our customers on time

  • Create clarity on the product vision, roadmap, and plan

  • Define, drive and track success criteria and performance metrics such as engagement, usage, profitability etc. and incorporate into planning and execution

  • Work with stakeholders to deliver success across the customer, product, and business

  • Work with customers to understand their pain points and make them successful

  • Collaborate with partner teams to deliver new value in our product and across Microsoft’s products

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

  • OR equivalent experience

Other Requirements

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:

  • This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

  • OR equivalent experience

  • 4+ years experience managing data products

  • 2+ years experience with API design, production, and/or monetization

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
