As a part of the Developer Infrastructure Team within 1ES, we are seeking a Senior Produc t Manager to own Microsoft developer’s build experience on the developer desktop as well as Pull Requests.

Responsibilities

  • Deeply understand Microsoft’s developers and the key drivers of satisfaction and productivity during the Build process

  • Evolve and execute the strategic roadmap for Build Infrastructure and Build Tooling.

  • Define product requirements and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development.

  • You will influence the roadmap of GitHub and Microsoft DevBox to improve the build experience for developers.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

  • OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with build engines, Continous Integration(CI) /Continuous Deployment(CD) Infrastructure

  • Deep knowledge and experience on Engineering systems platforms like Azure DevOps and GitHub.

  • Hands-on experience with analyzing structured data supporting/disproving assumptions and predictions.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical people

  • Hands-on prior/current experience with writing code, buildingand testing code

  • Demonstrated experience with tools for software developers

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.
