Amazon Senior Manager, Project Kuiper Supply Chain in Redmond, Washington

Description

The Kuiper team is looking for a senior supply chain leader to drive world class supply chain delivery performance leading supplier performance with critical PCBA/PCB commodity suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have a successful track record delivering results executing demand to delivery value stream with a critical strength managing supplier performance. Experience working in new and ambiguous environments while solving complex problems with a broad range of cross functional stakeholders will be a critical skill.

Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Key job responsibilities

• Lead a team of delivery program managers to scale up Satellite electronics (PCBs/PCBAs) from development into stable & affordable high-rate production with visibility into supplier manufacturing operations

• Work with a range of stakeholders including business leaders, engineering leaders, legal, program management, and supply chain to execute on supplier delivery performance

• Establish metrics and mechanisms to Analyze-Detect-Mitigate product delivery to ensure continuity of supply

• Influence suppliers' total performance, to support stable sustainable high rate production

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5+ years of managing teams experience

  • 9+ years of supply chain experience

  • 9+ years of delivering cross functional projects experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience owning program strategy and end to end delivery

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $125,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $233,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
