The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $147,950.00 -- $227,850.00 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity. Workforce Solutions - Renew Sales Team is seeking a rockstar Senior Manager of Product Management to oversee major product initiatives for personal and Hybrid systems across Renew Solutions in the Americas market. In this role, you will be responsible for critical product initiatives to build Renew Solutions business. You set the product vision, define use cases, analyze customer and financial implications, and ultimately choose the most promising path for success. You drive prioritization across multiple internal teams, communication with internal stakeholders and the go to market plan. You are an evangelist of HP Renew solutions promoting new offerings to both our internal and external partners and customers, defining success metrics, and accelerating adoption.

This Senior Manager, Global Renew Solutions Personal and Hybrid Systems Product Managment role sits within the Renew Solutions group. This product management leader is responsible for operational success, strategic alignment and integration of activities with other major organizational functions. This role is fully accountable for the success of the group by influencing strategy and setting policy and direction. Sustainable Impact is at the heart of HP's business strategy, and HP Renew Solutions' focus is to enable HP's circularity strategy as a differentiator across all our product lines through transactional and as-a-service models, as well as scaling through our channel and distribution partners.

The right candidate will possess a strong product or program management background, will have demonstrated experience leading medium to large products and projects, ideally in the tech industry. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities.

As a Senior Manager for PM, you will be 100% customer and partner focused, understanding their needs and requirements, plus anticipating future trends that will serve their needs. You will excel at delivering results, being able to coordinate large, multi-functional projects on-time, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides strategic advice to regional/Corporate Function departmental executive management regarding overall targeted growth, operation efficiency, and capital strategy initiative

  • Builds financially sound, executable, data-driven business strategies that improve HP share holder value

  • Provides strategic advice to clarify, plan and monitor the growth of HP or business unit revenues and market share

  • Drives operational efficiency initiatives that improve HP profitability

  • Applies financial rigor and acumen to all initiatives that lead executive and HP business teams to share holder value-based decisions

  • Design and development of business models, market strategies or M&A activities for organizational effectiveness

  • Develops growth strategies for area of responsibility

  • Leads strategy and leadership teams in developing key and or difficult acquisitions/growth transactions and strategies

  • Provides business rational and risk assessment for making HP investments in their area of focus

  • Builds relationship and provides guidance to industry, community, press as appropriate

  • Creates a performance driven culture that ensures HP has the best strategic planning team in the industry

  • Balances short term with long term strategies and resource investment

  • Drives high-impact organizational and operational planning initiatives, including M&A projects

  • Influences C-level executives on a wide range of business issues, including risk management and implementation tactics

  • Provides innovative thought leadership and shapes the knowledge base within area of expertise

  • Provides strong leadership, develops and sets individual and departmental team performance goals and manages/drives change

  • Budget Management & Cost Optimization: Establishes tracks and enforces spending parameters to protect HP's business and assets, and ensures their effective engagement

  • P&L Management: Sets and manages the business investments and resource allocations essential to ensuring the financial growth & health of the corporation

  • Understands the portfolio aspect of HP's products/services and how the businesses work together

  • Change Management' Develops methods for supporting innovation and change across the organization

  • Problem Solving- Approaches problems in a rational manner using sound strategies that ensures comprehensive understanding and effective resolution

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of experience in product or program management preferably in the Tech industry

  • MBA highly desired, though not mandatory

  • Experience in Refurb and aftermarket industry is a plus

  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation, customer success and business results

  • Strong business and financial acumen with demonstrated experience in delivering business results

  • Proven track-record of delivering impactful and thoughtful customer experience improvements that solve real customer problems and create significant business value

  • Demonstrated track-record of successfully developing and deploying new product solutions

  • Clear, crisp and concise verbal and written communication skills; with ability to identify opportunities and influence organizations in garnering support for change

  • Proven track record of continuous improvement by applying new technologies
