What the role is about

The role is to be the Senior Field Program Lead, where you would develop strategies and programs to land Edge for Business with Microsoft field teams to grow usage. You would own the field metric, from development to implementation to analysis. Ideally, you understand field roles and solution plays in a commercial setting.

The challenge is to align Edge for Business with the field’s motions. The fun is that Edge for Business has a growing fan base and is poised to continue its accelerated growth.

Responsibilities

How you can make an impact:

  • Apply your knowledge of Microsoft field teams to create strategies and programs that align Edge for Business with various field teams

  • Develop, implement, and analyze Edge for Business metric(s) to support field strategies and other initiatives

  • Enable the Microsoft field with core content and ad hoc communications

  • Partner with audience marketers who develop core content. Be a fluent storyteller and own the pen to tailor content for the field.

  • Be passionate about technology, across Edge for Business, Copilot, and other Microsoft products

  • Partner with the engineering team on field engagement and share field intelligence

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business

  • OR Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • Understanding and experience working with Microsoft field teams, including FastTrack

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business

  • OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • Understanding and experience working in commercial cloud businesses, either at Microsoft or in the industry.

  • Experience in developing business strategies through sound business judgement, collaboration, and data analysis.

  • Previous exposure to incentives, target setting

  • Previous experience and comfort in doing quantitative analysis

  • Effective communication skills, including creating customer-facing content

  • Technical fluency to speak with engineers

  • Proven ability to collaborate and contribute to a positive, inclusive work environment that fosters knowledge sharing

  • Candidates should expect to provide a writing sample as part of the interview process

Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
