Microsoft Corporation Researcher Algorithms Microsoft Research in Redmond, Washington

The Algorithms group at MSR Redmond seeks exceptional researchers who are passionate about advancing the state of the art in theoretical computer science and having impact on the industry. Applicants must have a demonstrated ability for independent research and a strong academic publication record in theoretical computer science.

You will set your own research agenda and collaborate with other researchers and engineers, with the goal of achieving breakthroughs in the field.

We value excellence, breadth of research interests, and desire for having impact. Current projects in the group include differential privacy, scheduling theory, and coding theory. Required Qualifications

· PhD (completed or close to completion) in computer science, mathematics, electrical engineering, or a closely related field.

· Well-established research track record of publications.

Preferred Qualifications

· Ability to define your own research agenda.

· Demonstrated ability to collaborate, communicate effectively, and work as part of a team.

· Basic programming skills.
