BCforward is currently seeking highly motivated Project Manager for an opportunity in Redmond, WA Position Title: Project Manager Location: Redmond, WA Anticipated Start Date: ASAP Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. Expected Duration: 12 Months Contract Job Type: FULL TIME Contract Pay Range: [65.00/hr.] - [68.00/hr.] Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Job Description * The main function of a non-IT project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems, and product roll-out, etc or any other non-IT based project. * The purpose of this team is to provide business support throughout Microsoft Gaming. * This role will contribute to multiple projects based on need, focusing on helping ensure project completion, and working on new initiatives. * The role will consist of heads down work 80%, (following up on action items, risk identification and mitigation, team support, partner resolutions). There will also be weekly meetings for each project, 10-15%. Responsibilities: * Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities. * Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients. * Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence. * Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects. * Confer with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures. * Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates. Skills: * Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and manage one's time. * Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. * Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods. * Knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc. Top 3 Skills Required + Years of Experience: * Minimum 5 years experience with project management * Minimum 4 years experience within the gaming industry. * Minimum 5 years experience with B2C workflows Benefits: BCforward offers all eligible employees a comprehensive benefits package including, but not limited to major medical, HSA, dental, vision, employer-provided group life, voluntary life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, and 401k.
