Engineering Project Manager Location: Redmond, Washington About Our Client: Our client is a highly sought after Fortune 500 Medical Device organization looking for results driven professionals like you! This facility focuses on Class III electromechanical ALS & BLS devices used around the world. Offering an environment where collaboration and results are equally important, this highly sought after company has a global reputation for growth and company culture. Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting production, engineering, and supply chain functions within a Class III Medical Device manufacturing environment.
- Working with operations and management teams to effectively implement engineering and process changes to support project goals.
- Coordinating the implementation of engineering and process changes required for European Medical Device Regulation (EU MDR).
- Interfacing with many cross-functional stakeholders and engineering functions to develop the appropriate timelines and ensuring the production teams can successfully execute EU MDR.
- Providing progress reports to other functional groups within operations affected by the project.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline such as Biomedical Engineering or Project Management.
- PMP certification highly desired.
- 2+ years' experience in project management.
- 2+ years' demonstrated experience managing projects in a regulated industry (med device preferred).
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment supporting productions teams.
- Knowledge of design control, change control, in the medical device industry or other regulated environments.
- Experience with lean/six sigma process improvements.
- Experienced in launching new or updated products, redesigns, line extensions or maintenance items in a medical device, food, or pharma company.
- Experience with project management systems (e.g. Microsoft Project).
