We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager II/III will be a key contributor to a team that is tasked with Executing the high priority Sourcing, Logistics and Distribution Projects.The role of the Project Manager is to initiate, plan, execute, communicate, manage and finalize these projects according to defined requirements, scope, budget and schedule. The successful candidate will work closely with other functions including Category Management, Materials Management, Quality, Distribution, Logistics and Operations. In this position you will: Lead the implementation of all assigned projects. Develop project plans in alignment with the organization's strategic plans and objectives. Build support to influence decisions in order to ensure aligned work towards common objectives. Manage internal customer expectations from initial opportunity identification and through the project lifecycle. Develop processes to gain all required approval and signoff(s) of each project as necessary. Develop root cause analyses and process improvement plans. Maintain all project artifacts. Required Education, Qualifications, and Experience: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience: 15 years related experience, BS +5 years related experience, or MS/MBA +2 years related experience. Professional experience of 5 years (Project Manager II) or 8 years (Project Manager III). Education and experience with Project Management (PM) methodologies based on Project Management principles. Lean education strongly encouraged as soon as available or within the first two years on the job. Experience managing projects with multiple project teams and disciplines. Experience with PM methodologies and software. Experience making formal and informal presentations to cross-functional teams, including, senior management and key stakeholders. Demonstrated management skills and the ability to work effectively to build relationships with department managers and support teams. Ability to effectively present and gather information at status meetings. Ability to develop, direct, motivate and gain the commitment of cross-functional teams. Ability to translate conceptual thinking into project definitions and requirements. Demonstrated ability to take initiative, prioritize work, manage time and respond effectively to a rapidly changing environment. Ability to exercise sound political and environmental judgment as appropriate to support successful project implementation. Demonstrated knowledge and skills in assessing and mitigating risks through risk planning. Ability to understand and communicate technical specifications and design standards. Demonstrated ability to successfully coach and mentor others. Demonstrated ability to inform and influence senior leadership, management and individuals in various parts of the organization to work toward successful outcomes. Demonstrated ability to build collaborative multi-functional teams. Demonstrated ability to work as a key member of a technical integration and implementation team. Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Experience working with process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
