The Azure Cosmos DB team is seeking a highly motivated, talented and energetic Program Manager. Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Excellent collaboration skills and a proven track record in managing complex dependencies

  • Ability to write code

  • Solid problem solving skills dealing with ambiguity

  • Customer empathy and experience in shipping customer facing solutions

  • Background or knowledge in distributed systems, database systems and storage is a strong plus

  • Expertise on data analytics or cloud computing is also desirable

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:

  • 3 years of software development and/or program management experience shipping services

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and/or MBA

  • Experience/deep technical knowledge of distributed systems, database systems such as MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB and open-source software NoSQL and Big Data systems, etc. is a strong plus.
