MICROSOFT CORP Program Manager in Redmond, Washington

Microsoft Corporation has the following opportunity: Develop a scalable and effective technical strategy to support the rhythm of the business and organizational goals. Create and evaluate reports, dashboards, tabular models, and analytical insights to drive efficiency and business solutions. Articulate project goals and scope, translate business needs into technical terms, establish key performance indicators. Perform engineering duties related to the planning and designing of Microsoft's tools or other mechanically functioning equipment. Monitor installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of Microsoft technologies or systems as necessary to control the lifecycle of dynamic projects and encourage best practices. Collaborate with cross functional teams regarding operations planning, production control, configuration, deployment, and improvement measures.   Telecommuting permitted less than 50%/week within same geographic location as assigned Microsoft office location. Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 12 months of coordinated program, product, or project management experience and/or experience in designing, developing and releasing hardware, software products or services.
  • Education or Experience in: Writing Product Requirements Documents (PRDs); Feature Prioritization; Project Management; Customer Interviews; Sprint Planning; User Stories; and Defining Key Performance Metrics.

Pay Range and Benefits Information: The offered base pay range for this specific position (V8368919.c), in Redmond, WA, is $121,500 to $151,500 per year.

Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.?  

At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
