Program Manager Tech V BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Program Manager Tech V for an opportunity in Redmond, WA! Position Title: Program Manager Tech V Location: Redmond, WA Anticipated Start Date: 04/22/2024. Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. Expected Duration: 6 Months Job Type: Contract/Onsite Pay Range: $85.00 - $90.00 Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Requirements: Drive programs/projects from project initiation through delivery. Interface with clients on technical and business issues. Create and/or review multiple functional specifications that will be used as tools in making decisions as to how the product or service will be implemented. Provide Product Managers & Product Unit Managers with technical and/or analytical information. Organize cross functional activities ensuring the program/project is completed on schedule and within budget constraints. Provide program/project schedules and status reports. Job Description: * This PM will be helping define an incubation project for the Azure Quantum team. Significant experience in defining and working on networking projects is critical. * Azure Quantum, a public preview service that connects customers to quantum computing hardware from third-party providers. * Azure Quantum Elements, a private preview service that offers a similar functionality as Azure Quantum. 1 * An incubation project that involves building a new technology with a partner, related to quantum networking. * Documenting requirements and writing product specifications for a new technology incubation project related to quantum networking. 12 * Coordinating with a third-party partner based in Vancouver to build the new technology. 3 * Spending some time in the physical lab, setting up, checking, and monitoring equipment. 45 * Working with two researchers to understand their vision and what they are trying to build. 6 * Using Azure Quantum and Azure Quantum Elements, which are services that connect customers to quantum computing hardware. Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience * 10 years' experience Strong networking skills, especially in large-scale or physical networking. * 10 years' experience with telecom networking or similar domains * 10 years' experience Lab experience and ability to work with physical hardware and equipment.
