About the Role:

As a CBRE Program Manager, you will manage a team responsible for facilitating small to medium cross-functional projects and programs. This job is part of the Program Management function. They are responsible for the creation and delivery of strategic programs representing major company initiatives. This is an on-site/hybrid position based in Redmond, WA. The ideal candidate will a general understanding of technical concepts such as Building Management Systems, Smart Buildings, and Agile methodologies.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage a technical program related to building automation operations to successfully monitor and manage a 24/7 operations center with minimal risk to the client., SMART buildings

  • Manage a technical program related to building automation engineering. Prioritize and delegate tasks to maximize operational efficiency and minimize risk to the client.

  • Understand technical terms related to building automation and IoT.

  • Utilize agile workflows to delegate and prioritize tasks.

  • Manage service contracts and scopes of works with vendors, ensure KPIs are tracked, and SLAs objectives are met.

  • Be able to write and translate technical documents related to business procedures.

  • Be able to write knowledge-based articles, standard operating procedures.

  • Provide formal supervision to employees.

  • Monitor the training and development of staff.

  • Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.

  • Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.

  • Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.

  • Oversee cross-functional projects or programs from end to end using a formal process.

  • Track and oversee a Fiscal budget, ensure appropriated budget is spent and provide guidance on meeting fiscal objectives.

  • Ensure that all functions remain on schedule and any issues get escalated and resolved so that the program gets completed on time.

  • Manage internal and external relationships in support of programs.

  • Work with core teams to develop solutions and guide project teams throughout delivery.

  • Conduct financial or business evaluations.

  • Establish, cultivate, and maintain effective client relationships.

  • Comprehend, evaluate, and interpret business documents.

  • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.

  • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.

  • Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams .

  • Work within broad guidelines and policies.

  • Explain difficult or sensitive information.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience.

  • In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • PgMP or PMP certifications preferred.

  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.

  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.

  • Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $100,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $107,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
