We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic technical Program Manager who is data driven and customer focused who can evolve how we deliver localization as a service. This is a highly collaborative role, working with many stakeholders across the engineering teams, content teams and other International teams to ship services/sites/technical documentations internationally.

Responsibilities

We:

  • Deliver high quality localized products/services/sites/technical contents across the Cloud +AI portfolio including Azure, SQL, Visual Studio, PowerBI, Commerce etc. scaling up to 108 languages

  • Deeply understand engineering systems and project-life cycle of each product/service to integrate localization into agile dev process

  • Immerse ourselves in the product scenarios to understand business environment & competitive landscape; identify the right/suitable local customer experience that have the most value, revenue, or strategic impact

  • Source solutions to understand international customer trends, priorities and satisfaction by engaging with engineering teams (Globalization requirements, localizability, bug prevention, etc.), subsidiaries and other customer channels.

  • Generate customer feedback and behavior insights, create and leverage reports and derive customer behavior to determine and adjust localization strategy.

  • Build channels and new partnerships with marketing, product planning in Corp and Field

We value:

  • Collaboration & influence: Ability to work with Program Managers and Engineers across Microsoft. Must be able to understand the engineering cycles and workflow tooling to surface and propose requirements.

  • Technical: Must be versed with development, build, and localization practices, ability in participating in spec reviews, understand and design technical solutions.

  • Ownership: Ultimately own the experience of customers around the world, as a Program Manager you will manage projects end to end, own quality, ensure proper publishing cadence.

  • Analytical: Work with large amounts of data, validating inputs, running analysis and being able to draw conclusion and strategy based on data insights

Qualifications

Preferred Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years Program Management experience shipping software

  • Strong technical experience with cloud technologies, engineering systems esp build systems, content publishing systems

  • Ability to drive cross group problem solving, customer advocacy and ability to apply creativity, critical thinking and solution-mindedness in a dynamic working environment across content, engineering and supplier

  • Degree in Computer Science or related work experience

  • Excellent communication skills and PM skills

  • Experience with customer feedback programs or user research
