Our client has a brand-new opportunity for a USB Project Manager 2 . This Project Manager will be responsible for data management, issue tracking, documentation, and presentations. The identified candidate will be in charge of the USB project, handling the technical and business perspective. This role will have first-hand experience with USB communication, which is a growing technology in the PC industry, which is going to be the future for technical communication methods. This Project Manager will be joining a team that is creating laptops, laptop / PC products, and USB-C. This role will be onsite in the Redmond, WA area. The identified candidate will be working standard Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm hours, but occasionally might need to have flexible hours as the team has to accommodate for the India team sometimes.

Scope of Activity and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team members to identify priorities, allocate resources, and develop action plans to achieve project / program’s objectives

  • Assist in the coordination and execution of projects / programs, ensuring alignment with goals and timelines

  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, meeting notes, and maintaining documentation

  • Facilitate communication and information flow between teams and stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment

  • Prepare reports and presentations to summarize project status, key metrics, and performance indicators for management review

  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and proactively implement solutions to mitigate them

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in software program management with IT projects

  • Working knowledge of software issue management tools, bug tracking tools

  • 1+ years of experience with ADO

  • 3+ years of experience as a software developer or the program management experience

  • 3+ years of working experience with PC or Laptop product development product lifecycle

  • Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a high quality of work

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiar with USB standards, protocols, and specifications

  • Working knowledge of Agile practices is preferred

  • Familiar with bug tracking tools

Pay Rate Range: $63.75/hr. – $70/hr. (Depending on Experience)
