The Xbox Services product marketing group is searching for a high-caliber team member to help open up new routes to market and channel marketing opportunities for Xbox Services on Xbox, Windows 10 PCs, and mobile devices. In this role you will work closely with various business and consumer groups within and outside of Microsoft to build strategic channel partnerships and joint go to market offerings in support of our existing and future services. The Xbox Services product marketing team leads insights, distribution strategies, partner channel marketing and GTM plans.

We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference. You will apply critical thinking, creativity and marketing leadership as you work closely with teams across all parts of Microsoft and with our external partners that span marketing, communications, engineering, finance, planning. business development, etc.


  • Drive strategic product and business decision support for key growth initiatives and business proposals (e.g. ideation, sizing, roadmap, leaning plans)

  • Lead the Channel Marketing GTM plans, providing go-to-market guidance and leadership, working across integrated marketing teams, PR, social, marketing communications, programming, partners and retailers

  • Provide the requirements and manage product offerings with channel, operations and the supply chain including Sku development, pricing, promotions and change management.

  • Drive the development of our partner and field enablement toolkits including playbooks, storybooks, execution guides, training materials, BOMs, etc.

  • Be an expert in the channels understating partner business models and identifying opportunities for win/win solutions

  • Project manage key work-streams in collaboration with product, business development, planning, marketing, partner and consumer groups

  • Deliver insightful recommendations in a persuasive and thoughtful manner


  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience driving high-impact business insight and marketing performance within a major consumer products corporation

  • Background in consumer retail and/or the OEM channels

  • Top performer across the standard elements of the “product marketing” toolkit with a demonstrated track record of thought leadership and influence within an organization

  • Problem solving, qualitative/quantitative analysis and recommendation packaging & delivery

  • Outstanding creative, storytelling and communication skills

  • Passion for gaming is a must; gaming industry experience is a plus

  • MBA or graduate degree in related field desired
