Insight Global Product Manager in Redmond, Washington

Job Description

An employer is looking for a Product Manager in the Redmond, WA area. This role fits within a centralized QA organization that provides data and QA support across enterprise level game studios.

This role will serve as the liaison between the embedded QA teams and the central engineering team, fielding feature intake requests & translating business requirements into engineering specs.

This person will need to understand the product roadmap for these studios & QA teams, leverage automation and available tools, evaluate ROI for feature requests, and help to standardize processes across the organization.

  • Review feature requests from our customers (Quality Teams)

  • Engage with the customers to understand the requirements, needs, Return on Investment (ROI) and write simple specification documents

  • Articulate what the problem we're trying to solve for, who the customers/users are, when is the feature needed and why this is a problem worth solving for (ROI)

  • Partner with engineering, and other domain owners to determine suitable solutions for customers

  • Groom feature backlog on Azure DevOps

Skills and Requirements

Strong presentation, organization and Project/Product Management skills.

Experience working in a technical, data engineering, or software engineering organization.

Experience with a variety of Project Management methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).

Excellent verbal and written communication.

Experience translating business requirements into actionable technical specs.

Experience working between QA and Engineering teams.

Experience with MS Project, VSO/Azure DevOps, SharePoint, and other development tools. Experience within the games industry null
