Microsoft Corporation Product Manager - Power Platform Evangelist in Redmond, Washington

As a Product Manager - Power Platform Evangelist, you’ll play a pivotal role in showcasing the capabilities of the Microsoft Power Platform. Your mission is to create and deliver compelling product demos that resonate with audiences at conferences and industry events of all sizes. You will lead technical presentations and represent our low code platform, and its product leadership, in high-stakes customer conversations, architectural design workshops, and small group settings. As part of this role, you’ll collaborate with C-level executives, the technical team, and stakeholders to deliver memorable experiences that highlight the value of our products.

Responsibilities

Demo Development:

  • Create engaging and visually impactful demos that showcase Power Platform features, use cases, and benefits.

  • Tailor demos to specific audiences, emphasizing relevant scenarios and industry applications.

  • Collaborate with product teams to stay up-to-date on the latest features and enhancements.

Stage Presence:

  • Be a charismatic showperson on stage, capturing attention and conveying enthusiasm.

  • Deliver polished, exciting presentations that leave a lasting impression.

  • Handle unexpected situations with grace and adaptability.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Understand the technical aspects of the Power Platform and related Microsoft technologies (Microsoft 365, Azure, Dynamics 365).

  • Demonstrate how to build and manage intelligent applications and automations, copilots, and agents.

  • Address technical questions and challenges related to real-world implementations, security, and governance of low-code platforms.

Executive Presence:

  • Engage with C-level executives, decision-makers, and stakeholders.

  • Articulate the strategic value of Power Platform in driving digital transformation.

  • Navigate complex conversations and objections confidently.

Brand Ambassadorship:

  • Represent Microsoft and the Power Platform brand with integrity and professionalism.

  • Uphold our brand values and messaging consistently.

  • Foster positive relationships with customers, partners, and the community.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years of experience in delivering technical presentations, demos, public speaking, or similar roles.

  • 3+ years of experience with storyboarding, narrative development, and storytelling techniques in the context of developing product demonstrations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • Experience presenting live demos at large-scale conferences and industry events.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle conversations with poise.

  • Prior experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as consulting or technical sales.

  • Basic video recording and editing experience with tools like Camtasia, Clipchamp, OBS, or others.

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform and familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure, and Dynamics 365 or other low-code platforms.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
