Job Description: Leverage reports, dashboards, tabular models and analytical insights to drive business success. Apply customer and competitor insights to create business plans, explore new business opportunities, facilitate introduction of product features, and devise initiatives to grow users and engagement. Collaborate with cross functional teams to determine potential sales of Microsoft's products or services. Develop the end-to-end user experience, product roadmap, and monitor the complete product lifecycle, which may include product definition and planning through development, release, modifications, upgrades, maintenance, and product retirement. Prioritize customer and product success criteria. Produce financial and market intelligence by querying data repositories and generating periodic reports. Devise methods for identifying data patterns and trends in available information sources. Serve as "the voice of the customer" and utilize business intelligence information to promote customer use and drive long-term value creation. May collaborate with cross functional teams to develop SKU strategy, pricing, promotions, packaging, product licensing, licensing programs, agreement structure/terms, deal-making constructs, and commerce strategy. Telecommuting permitted less than 50%/week within same geographic location as assigned Microsoft office location.

 

Requirements:

  • *Education: *Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. (Employer will accept 3- or 4-year degree).
  • Experience: Three years of business consulting experience.
  • Specific Skill Requirements: This position requires at least 24 months of experience in: Customer and Partner Focus; and Building AI cloud practices; at least 12 months of experience in: Building supervised and unsupervised machine learning and deep learning models in cloud services and locally with Python, R, and/or T-SQL; and Operationalizing machine learning models (MLOps) in Azure; at least 6 months of experience in: Go-to-market strategies and execution for Data & AI; and education or experience in: Exploratory data analysis using Python, SQL, PySpark, and/or R; and Cross-functional orchestration.

Pay Range and Benefits Information: The offered base pay range for this specific position (job code TSBRT17872A), in Redmond, WA, is $158,500 to $188,500.

Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. 

At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
