Microsoft Corporation has the following job opportunity:  Create designs, prototypes and/or concepts for business productivity, gaming, entertainment, or other software or hardware applications. Leverage innovative techniques to ensure products and services are desirable, relevant, usable, personal, and feasible. Conceptualize and facilitate ideation sessions, storyboarding, and brainstorming to develop user scenarios and sketch early-stage mockups. Drive user experience design from definition to ideation to delivery. Produce design briefs and support the production of information architecture diagrams, wireframes, interaction flows, low-fi prototypes, or other artifacts required to develop and evolve user experience designs. Implement Microsoft design languages and guidelines for production of user experiences in form of visual design specifications. Collaborate with cross functional teams (such as researchers, content designers, program managers, developers etc.) to translate user requirements, feedback and telemetry into design solutions. Create special effects, designs, or other visual images using human computer interaction (HCI) design technologies that improve Microsoft product user experiences or other world class creations like computer games. Specifically, the duties will involve data and analytics-related products for users such as developers and analysts. The position will design user flows, user journey, task flows and related user experiences designs in form of design specs, visual and accessibility guidelines and interactive prototypes. Additionally, can conduct or assist in research sessions with users/customers, gathered and synthesize the information to transform user and business requirements into meaningful designs. This will be done for Azure Data (cloud and AI applications) related software applications and products and focusing on data and analytics solutions for enterprise users (such as developers and analysts). Telecommute work permitted 50% or more within the same geographic area as assigned Microsoft office location. 

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Fine Art, Animation, Computer Design, Web Design, Interaction Design, Multimedia Art, Animation, Visual Arts, or related.

Experience: One (1) year of experience in producing interactive prototypes.

Specific skills requirements: This position requires at least 12 months of experience in: Web UI.; education or experience in: User Interface Design; User Research; Design Strategy; Azure; Coordinating program development of computer software applications/systems/services from design through product release; Figma.* *

Pay Range and Benefits Information: The offered base pay range for this specific position (Job Code: TSMAH17901a), based in Redmond, WA, is $160,709. To $190,709.

Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
