Microsoft Corporation has the following opportunity: Develop a scalable and effective technical strategy to support the rhythm of the business and organizational goals. Create and evaluate reports, dashboards, tabular models, and analytical insights to drive efficiency and business solutions. Develop process improvement initiatives through the disciplined use of measurements, accountability, analysis, and discussion of process alternatives in order to arrive at best practices. Plan and control activities that provide operational support for a business segment, group or team. Collaborate with cross functional teams to support multi-functional efforts in process improvement, data capture and analysis, infrastructure support, tool ownership, and corporate compliance. Advise business groups by providing strategic direction to initiative prioritization, integration, and resource application. Ensure that policies and procedures align with corporate vision. Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects to build off the work of technical staff. Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met. Telecommuting permitted less than 50%/week within same geographic location as assigned Microsoft office location. Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering; IT; Technology Management; or a related field. Employer will accept 3 or 4 year bachelor's degree.
  • Experience: 36 months of software-related, centralized and coordinated program, product, or project management experience and/or experience in designing, developing and releasing software products or services.
  • Specific skills: Experience must include 24 months of experience in each of the following: Coordinating program development of computer software applications/systems/services from design through product release; Managing software or business processes for operations, systems, projects, tools or policies; Six Sigma, LEAN, Process Improvement methodologies; End to end management of project & / or program launches; and Leading change management.

Pay Range and Benefits Information: The offered base pay range for this specific position (V13836845.b), in Redmond, WA, is $130,000 to $160,000 per year.

Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.?
