We are looking for Principal Technical Program Manager to make significant impact on customers’ success by contributing to strategic advancements in cross-cloud initiatives using Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Machine Learning (ML)  The Azure Customer Experience (CXP) team is looking for an experienced candidate that can establish a product vision and direction for AI/ML products.

You will drive cross-cloud (Azure, Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365) initiatives that improve customer experiences and support. You will define products that form an end-to-end customer experience story that empowers external customers and internal Microsoft stakeholders. You will leverage cloud-scale and AI/ML along with talented Data Scientists and User Experience Designers to deliver customer experiences that weren’t possible even a few years ago. This role allows a high degree of autonomy and creative innovation in scenarios that cut broadly across many Microsoft products.

Responsibilities

  • Listening to customers to understand their scenarios and challenges

  • Developing a product roadmap and strategy

  • Creating product/feature specifications with visual and written designs

  • Engage with partner teams across Microsoft to drive alignment on dependencies

  • Define, collect and measure the success of the product/feature through relevant metrics and key performance indicator (KPIs).

  • Present roadmap, plans, and status to all levels of company leadership

  • Working with engineering to manage schedules and deliver impact

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years of technical program management experience with a ML/AI product

  • Good understanding and experience in data analysis and data science

Other requirements:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with building services on Azure or other cloud services

  • Experience influencing outcomes through partnerships across multiple divisions

  • Demonstrated ability to come up-to-speed quickly on a new technical domain

  • Data Science experience in driving experiments, anomaly detection, predictive analysis, and/or exploratory data analysis

Technical Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,600 - $256,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $173,200 - $282,200 per year.
