We are looking for a Principal Technical Program Manager to join our team, driving strategic cybersecurity initiatives that enhance the security posture of Microsoft’s Cloud Datacenters—both MS owned and leased. As part of the Azure Security organization under the Microsoft CISO Office, our team is dedicated to securing Microsoft’s cloud infrastructure by implementing robust security programs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and fostering collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders. In this role, you will play a critical part in our Datacenter Cybersecurity Program, focusing on securing the global datacenter ecosystem. You will work closely with engineering teams, datacenter operations teams, and strategic supply chain partners to develop and implement security solutions that address the unique challenges of securing hyperscale cloud datacenters. The ideal candidate will bring deep cybersecurity expertise, program management experience, and datacenter industry knowledge, with a strong track record in cross-company collaboration, strategic partner engagement, and security service delivery. Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
OR equivalent experience
3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
3+ years of Cybersecurity experience
3+ years of Datacenters experience
3+ years of Supply Chain Security experience
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Technical Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.
