Are you passionate about helping define the intersection of gaming, web3 & the metaverse? We are looking for a strong leader with a passion for building and developing world-class products and services. As a PM, you will provide a framework to mature our Xbox Emerging Technologies organization by improving agility and driving consistency for internal and external stakeholders. The role will establish a central connection point for sharing best practices and standards, develop common program tracking mechanisms, and routinely provide input to the leadership team for strategic initiatives.

As a Principal Program Manager, you’ll work with peers across disciplines (Design, Product, and Marketing) to build best-in-class products and solutions for our Emerging Technologies. Your ability to navigate ambiguity and create data-driven solutions will be crucial towards our mission of empowering the next generation of gamers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a common program management framework that integrates best-in-class industry practices including established standards and common language for project/program delivery

  • Create a central connection point for sharing best practices and standards

  • Establish a formal community of practice utilizing effective collaboration tools, operating rhythms, and innovative teaming methods.

  • Utilize voice-of-customer data to develop and implement requirements for the program management community.

  • Develop tools and processes to provide improved visibility to projects and programs across teams.

  • Conduct business reviews to highlight strategic Web3 initiatives with the Xbox Emerging Technologies leadership team.

  • Create product roadmaps with engineering, design, marketing/PR, and legal to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.

  • Support cross functional team building by building mutual trust and encourages respect and cooperation among team members.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience developing consumer software products with demonstrated history of driving results.

  • Experience working as project, program, or product marketing manager.

  • Track record of building technical programs or solutions in an enterprise or start-up environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Marketing, Management or related field.

  • Passion for decentralized technologies (Web3, metaverse, DeFi, etc.)

  • Game or game adjacent technology experience

  • Track record of successful collaboration across product, engineering, marketing, public relations, and design.

  • Self-starter with demonstrated experience leading teams and/or personnel

  • Strong communicator with ability to create collaborative relationships

  • Leadership and coaching experience with PM/PMMs
