Microsoft Corporation Principal Program Manager in Redmond, Washington

Team Xbox is looking for a Principal Program Manager to deliver unique personalization and recommendation experience for our gamers across Mixer, Gaming storefront and XBOX .In this role you will work closely with various XBOX teams to understand requirements and deliver a gaming personalization platform at XBOX scale. You will also be responsible for identifying new personalization opportunities across gaming ecosystem that delight our customers and deliver business results. You will work across disciplines – business, marketing, studios, engineering, third-party publishing, and more. As a Principal PM you will be required to provide strong leadership, set clear requirements, data driven ,communicate effectively, and drive for success for our partners and enjoyment by our fans.


Candidate Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely across multiple disciplines (design, business development, data science, user research, engineering, and marketing) to execute on our vision for future gaming storefronts and ambient monetization

  • Own the product roadmap/prioritization of features for our experiences

  • Drive the development of new innovations across Xbox Live, Mixer, Universal Store, and Windows

  • Work with engineering, design and our partner teams to create a plan, lock dependencies, drive execution, and keep everyone informed

  • Represent your feature areas internally and at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements

  • Drive for a continued focus and commitment on an exceptional monetization experience on Microsoft platforms



  • 7+ years in a technical program management, software development, or software engineering experience

  • Experience designing both services and client solutions

  • Excellent, demonstrated written & oral communication skills

  • Experience and examples of successful cross-group communication

  • Experience driving external partners to deliver key technical contributions on defined timelines

  • Demonstrated strong performance in prior roles, with increasing levels of responsibility and independence

  • Organized, with strong technical and project management skills

  • Strong analytical skills

  • BS or equivalent in CS/Engineering
