Our security team detects and mitigates millions of attacks on a daily basis and is constantly evolving our approach to stay ahead as our adversaries evolve theirs.

We are looking for a Principal Product Manager with security expertise to develop and execute our overall security vision and strategy for the Office 365 Core Platform and many of our partners across Microsoft.

In this role you’ll lead the design of secure by default features and systems, and be instrumental in detecting, investigating, and mitigating threats emanating from all over the world.

Responsibilities

  • Drive modernization of the security platform across M365. Work with other security leaders and partner teams to build a compelling and secureplatform story around these scenarios.

  • Provide strategy, vision, product, or technical white papers that will be presented to stakeholders and executives. 

  • Imagine, design, and drive a rapid roadmap of improvements that help the team be ready for novel new threats and attacks.

  • Work with partner teams to understand needs and translate them to well defined and prioritized scenarios & requirements and plans to resolve any issues. Help build good relationships with partners as they build on our platform. 

  • Define Objectives and Key results along with metrics (KPIs) and Service level agreements (SLAs) to measure success of our platform investments.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years’ experience in product or technical program management or software development

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years’ experience working in cybersecurity or related field.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years of experience in product/service/program management

  • OR software development

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • Experience in Identity, authentication, authorization platforms are preferred .

  • Working experience and knowledge in authentication and authorization and security standards.

  • Experience working with enterprise customers, both technical and business, and at all levels.

  • Experience working in high scale cloud products and services.

  • Good communication and presentation skills.

Product Management IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $158,500 - $276,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $202,800 - $304,200 per year.
