Power Platform is a strategic new growth area for Microsoft, but more importantly, it is a disruptor technology that is transforming careers of ‘citizen developers’, empowering the pro developers to amplify their skills delivering building blocks and extend their reach to the business and IT Developers to proactively manage the platform putting guardrails in place allowing the business to innovate.
The fast growth of the platform is also causing friction within the very companies it is disrupting. Unblocking and empowering both the citizen and the pro developer personas through the next generation security and governance experiences as well as meeting the demands of the ever evolving business model in a rapid growing business is the charter of the Admin, Developer and ISV Experiences team.
The charter of our team is to define and deliver the next generation administrative, pro developer and ISV Experiences that will enable us to build a uniquely differentiated low code application development story for Microsoft.
We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated and customer centric program manager to lead the team driving the cross-platform governance investments. As the Group Product Manager in this space, you will be defining and guiding the strategy, development, and deployment of the next wave of security, governance, and analytics capabilities necessary to drive friction free, high-scale adoption of the Power Platform within some of the biggest companies in the world. You will be leading a strong, highly motivated team and diverse team and will be driving the core product investments across multiple stakeholder team. As part of the E2E product ownership you will also be accountable for defining the monetization strategy, ensuing a healthy growth the Monthly Active Usage and will play a key role in helping define and drive the overall governance story working with stakeholders across Microsoft.
The ideal candidate will be self-driven individual with strong cross discipline collaboration skills and that can help ensure that the right people with the right knowledge and expertise are involved in the right conversations. You have strong people centric leadership skills and a proven track record of building and leading agile, highly collaborative teams. You have a growth mindset and take pride in creating an environment where everyone does their best work and feels empowered to bring their authentic selves.
15+ years of product management experience on end-user facing experiences.
5+ years of solid experience building cloud applications/platforms.
3+ years in coaching and managing people.
Proven track record of identifying customer needs, driving them to successfully shipped and adopted products and services.
Passionate about making others successful.
Hungry to succeed – be willing to take risks, fail fast (if needed) and try again.
Customer-obsessed with the focus to cut through the noise and build what our customers need and not always what they want.
Qualitatively and quantitatively data-driven
Demonstrated cross-group collaboration skills
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical experiences
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
