Responsibilities
Work with the internal CELA team to understand and detect potential antitrust compliance risks all over the world and develop services and systems accordingly.
Work with internal audit team periodically to review tools/process and fix potential gaps.
Be the technical architect for the ENG team to implement and deliver GB18030 compliant, ensuring third party access for M365 interoperability; and facilitate the services lifecycle operations like automated deployment, real-time monitoring, and repair as necessary.
Provide vision and leadership for the ENG team to develop services and tools to detect if Office365 antitrust compliance work is implemented, mine usage telemetry and customer feedback, audit quality, and ensure appropriate documentation is released.
Collaborate closely with program managers and partner teams to deliver a set of features for Microsoft Office 365 interoperability for the right overall design, implementation, and monitoring.
Drive customer events and maintain great customer relationships to spot potential antitrust complaints from external customers.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
OR equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience as a manager or tech lead.
3+ years of experience working with a corporate compliance attorney
5+ years of experience in working directly with interoperability enterprise tools/services.
Other Requirements:
Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements that are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualficications:
Experience of big data platforms (Cosmos/Synapse/Purview).
Familiar with network traffic protocols and network traffic analytic tools.
Experience with Office telemetry data, Office release system and Office feature experimentation system.
Development and DevOps experience with one or more cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, etc.).
Building cloud services, web APIs, and/or REST services.
Client (Windows Presentation Foundation, Model View View Model) or web stack (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.NET MVC), and SQL Azure
Demonstrate the ability to learn quickly, be self-directed, and work well with other people
Be self-motivated and be a team player.
Software Engineering IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.
