Microsoft Corporation Power Platform Evangelist in Redmond, Washington

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Power Platform Evangelist. In this role, you will be responsible for demonstrating, advocating, and educating the capabilities across the entire Microsoft Power Platform. We are looking for a technical candidate with a passion for storytelling who can distill complex ideas and features into engaging product demos Additionally, proficiency in understanding and articulating Microsoft solution value messaging, along with the ability to present relevant and compelling technical business cases, is essential. The ideal candidate will possess the capability to lead and coordinate technical team resources for large-scale executive demos and content. Furthermore, the role involves orchestrating cross-workload solutions with other Microsoft products and services, such as Azure and Microsoft 365. Responsibilities

Be a part of a team that’s empowering organizations to achieve more. You’re passionate about technology, love engaging with the community, and are excited about the potential of the Power Platform.

  • You will lead technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and architecture design sessions to explain, demonstrate, and prove the results of our strategic direction.

  • You will present and record Power Platform product demonstrations at our large- and small-scale events (keynote demos).

  • You will work with the Power Platform teams to fully understand and articulate the latest product innovations arriving in each release cycle.

  • You will act as the voice of the community to support community growth and provide feedback to the Power Platform teams.

  • You will collaborate with product management and marketing teams to understand key customer scenarios, determine product value, and create inspiring stories.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • Proven experience in product evangelism, technical pre-sales, technical marketing, or similar.

  • Solid communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and engaging manner.

  • Solid understanding of the Microsoft Power Platform and its integration with other Microsoft products and services.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • Ability to gather and leverage product, industry, market, and competitive knowledge as well as technical expertise to develop product-centric demos and stories.

  • Ability to own and coordinate multiple projects with a wide range of stakeholders.

  • Experience in community building and social media engagement.

  • Prior experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as consulting or technical sales.

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform

  • Domain specific certifications, like for example:

  • Exam PL-900: Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals

  • Exam PL-100: Microsoft Power Platform App Maker

  • Exam PL-200: Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant

  • Exam PL-400: Microsoft Power Platform Developer

  • Exam PL-600: Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect

  • Basic video recording and editing experience with tools like Camtasia, Clipchamp, OBS, or others.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.
