EsophyX (EndoGastric Solutions, Inc.) Payroll Administrator in Redmond, Washington

Title: Accounting/Payroll AdministratorReports to: Accounting ManagerStatus: Regular, Full time, Exempt Summary: Responsible for timely and accurate preparation of payroll including commissions, regular and overtime wages; withholdings for federal, state, local and social security taxes and deductions for employee benefits, garnishments, etc. File required state and federal tax returns. Flex Plan/401k/American Express Administrator. Assist with work in other Accounting functions including A/P, A/R, Customer Service, and Sales Tax. Position Responsibilities: *Analyze, prepare and input payroll data using an automated system to produce accurate and timely payroll. *Review and resolve errors from edits. *Collect and process timecards and PTO forms. Resolves employee payroll questions. *Prepare semi-monthly Payroll journal entry and monthly PTO expense entry. *Compile, prepare and maintain various payroll reports. *Handle other payroll items including salary changes, benefit deductions, commissions, bonuses, and other miscellaneous payroll entries. *Coordinate with HR on new hires, promotions/transfers, terminations, relocations, etc. *Receive and process garnishments, child support, etc. *Transmit benefit data to DRS (401k), Flex-Plan Services (FSA and Daycare), Premera (HSA) on a semi-monthly basis for participant activity. *Complete forms for various Verifications of Employment. *Reconcile benefit invoices including Premera, VSP, Dental, Cigna, etc. *Manage American Express Business Travel/Corporate and Purchasing Card – new applications, monthly billing, issues when they arise. *Utility player for A/P, A/R, Customer Service (i.e., PO matching, AR collections, Fixed Assets, metrics, other reporting, backup for CS, AP, position, etc.). *Review and approve Concur expense reports. *Monthly sales tax reconciliations. *Assist with annual auditor requests. *Additional duties as assigned. Position Qualifications: *Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent experience. *Three + years of full payroll experiences – ADP Workforce a plus. *Familiarity with accounting procedures. Full cycle accounting experience preferred. *Ability to maintain high level of accuracy and attention to detail. *Maintain confidentiality concerning financial and employee information. *Strong analytical skills; likes to solve problems. *Curious learner with strong questioning skills. *Comfortable with learning new systems. *Strong Excel skills required with other MS office knowledge. *Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment. *Have a customer service mentality with excellent verbal and written communications skills. *Ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.
