Microsoft Corporation Partner Investments Finance Manager in Redmond, Washington

The Partner Investments Finance team sits in Global Partner Solutions (GPS) within the broader Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS) Segment Finance Team. The team works with stakeholders across the company (GPS, Solution Areas, Marketing, Business Planning) to optimize our multi-billion dollar investment into the partner eco-system.

We are looking for a Partner Investments Finance Manager to join the team. This strategy and planning role will provide ownership of financial performance for partner incentives programs and strategic campaigns that enable the growth of Microsoft cloud business across for a Solution area such as Modern Work, Security, Azure or Business Applications.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of financial analysis, execution, performance tracking andReturn on investment (ROI) optimization for Partner Incentives programs

  • Lead annual business planning, forecasting and close for the Solution Area Partner Incentive programs

  • Partner with stakeholders across GPS, Marketing and Strategy to design and launch new incentives, including building detailed financial models, completing scenario analysis and providing financial insight

  • Conduct performance analysis of existing Solution incentives and provide insight to business partners on incentive performance, ROI and uptake

  • Understand strategies to proactively mitigate, or reactively address, potential adverse effects of macroeconomic and/or geopolitical risks and propose solutions.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and regulatory requirements by reviewing and monitoring accuracy of financial documents and business processes. Drives corrective measures where needed.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial planning & analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field

  • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field

  • OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of work experience in Corporate Finance & Strategy

  • Experience building complex models that leverage multiple sources and Excel functionality

  • Collaborator who has experience working with a wide range of personality styles and cultures

  • Communicator who can take a complex analysis and speak to it in a simple way

  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders without authority

  • History of impact in roles where they have been a trusted business advisor

  • Deep interest in data with the ability to see beyond the numbers and drive sound decision-making

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with the ability to juggle multiple, time-sensitive deliverables

  • Commitment to self-accountability

Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.
