Salary:                 $195,608/year to $231,110/year + bonus + equity + benefits.

 

Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Duties:

 

Drive Mechanical Engineering activities in a cross-functional hardware team. Model, build, test, and refine prototypes and characterization test systems. Work across the full product development cycle, from concept inception to shipping product. Apply rigorous engineering and tolerance techniques to high-precision design requirements in the areas such as Optics, Mechanics, and Motion Control. Apply knowledge of manufacturing techniques, including Machining, 3D printing, and injection molding and design and manufacture consumer technology products.

 

Requirements:

 

Requires a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Sciences, or a related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or computer related occupation.   Experience must include 12 months of experience in each of the following: 1. Applying geometric dimensioning and tolerance techniques and associated metrology approaches; 2. Working on mechanical engineering designs in optics, mechanism, or mechatronics designs; 3. 3D design modeling using NX or SolidWorks and physical prototyping; 4. Driving mechanical engineering activities; 5. Modeling, building, testing, and refining prototypes and characterization test systems; 6. Utilizing manufacturing techniques, including machining, 3D printing, and injection molding; and 7. Applying rigorous engineering and tolerance techniques to high-precision design requirements in the areas such as Optics, Mechanics, and Motion Control.
