In this role, you will leverage your technical and leadership skills to manage Operational Technology (OT) that shapes the future of our manufacturing operations in Honeywell Aerospace ensuring operational continuity, optimization, and continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes. You will create the vision, develop the strategy, collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop innovative solutions, and hold teams accountable to deliver high impact business results.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Technology (OT) System:
Develop operational technology systems in the manufacturing environment, including supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), process control systems, manufacturing execution systems (MES), and related hardware and software components.
Provide technical support for OT systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrades, and configuration changes.
Collaborate with vendors, system integrators, and internal teams to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of the OT systems.
Implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect OT systems from potential threats or vulnerabilities.
Process Optimization and Automation:
Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes through the integration and optimization of OT systems.
Analyze data from OT systems to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
Conduct regular performance assessments and audits of OT systems, making recommendations for enhancements and upgrades.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with engineering teams, production managers, quality assurance, Corporate Enterprise Architecture teams and other stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective OT system solutions.
Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to drive continuous improvement and innovation in the manufacturing environment.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and skill development.
Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines in all aspects of OT system design, implementation, and operation.
Document current state and maintain changing site architecture, drive standards
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system specifications, standard operating procedures, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users to ensure proper understanding and utilization of OT systems.
U.S. CITIZEN REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.
You Must Have:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
At least 5 years of demonstrated experience working with operational technology systems in a manufacturing environment, with a track record of leadership and successful project delivery.
We Value:
Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in OT environments (e.g., PLC programming, ladder logic, HMI/SCADA scripting, PL/SQL, T-SQL, OOP).
Knowledge of OT technologies, such as SCADA, process control systems, MES, industrial networks, and related protocols (e.g., OPC, Modbus, TCP/IP).
Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, data analytics, and optimization techniques.
Broad knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices, particularly as they apply to OT systems.
Exceptional problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive innovation and change.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Track record of managing multiple projects with demonstrated results on a macro scale

Incentive Eligible
Salary Range: $168,000 - $210,000
