Cascade Engineering Services Mechanical Calibration Technician in Redmond, Washington
We are currently seeking a Mechanical Calibration Technician with 1-3 years of experience and either Military metrology technician training or associate degree in a related field to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical calibration and familiarity with the ISO/IEC 17025 standard.
Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical calibration on a variety of equipment, including but not limited to, torque wrenches, pressure gauges, ring gages, temperature/humidity and micrometers.
Use various calibration instruments to ensure accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment that does not meet calibration standards.
Maintain calibration records and documentation.
Ensure that all equipment is properly labeled and identified.
Participate in audits to maintain compliance with the ISO/IEC 17025 standard.
Assist with other duties as needed.
Requirements:
· Must be a U.S. Citizen or have Permanent Residency Status.
· Military PMEL/TMDE/DOD training preferred.
· Excellent customer interface skills.
· Ability to interface with fellow employees, management and corporate personnel on a daily basis.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Advanced skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
· High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
