As a Marketing MBA Intern, you'll join as a Product Marketing Manager Intern, where you'll learn how to determine marketing strategies for products and offerings through marketing plans, product content, and internal and external evangelism. You'll also be able to explore and learn about many other areas of Marketing at Microsoft such as Advertising, Brand, Business Planning, Events, Integrated Marketing, Market Research, Marketing Technology, and Media.

As a Marketing MBA Intern you'll also be part of the Marketing Aspire MBA Rotation Program (MAMBA), that begins with an internship in Marketing, and if you return full-time upon graduation, continues with three rotations over one-year starting in July 2026. Rotations will be across different marketing teams at Microsoft.

Responsibilities

*Product Marketing Manager  *

Determines marketing strategy for products and offerings through marketing plans, product content, and internal and external evangelism.   Understands, orchestrates, and influences campaigns and marketing activities, develops integrated marketing campaigns, and delivers product solutions and customer campaign feedback to the business. An essential aspect of the role of the Product Marketing Manager is to align the content, timing and delivery of marketing messages and outreach to Microsoft’s customers and partners.  Skills you may learn:

  • How to develop a Messaging and Positioning Framework (MPF) for a product/service, including creating supporting marketing collateral and assets

  • How to define and execute a Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy and amplify across marketing channels

  • How to craft compelling customer stories and evangelize through key moments

  • How to develop competitive insights and optimize customer adoption

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.

  • Must have at least one semester/year of school remaining following the completion of the internship. 

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in busniess.

  • Proven aptitude for seeking creative solutions to multi-faceted problems. 

  • Verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills.

  • Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.    

  • Ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.    

  • Ability to influence, inspire, and lead from any role. 

The base pay range for this internship is USD $5,560 - $11,190 per month. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $7,260 - $12,200 per month.
