Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

• Sun-Weds 5pm-3:30am

• Weds-Sat 6am - 4:30pm

Job Description

We are looking for an outstanding Manufacturing Engineer who combines superb technical and analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively. This role is responsible for developing 3D and 2D mechanical designs and related analyses specifically for flight-critical avionics systems. The ideal candidate will have a foundation in mechanical engineering suited for both prototype and production level designs.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D and 2D mechanical designs for flight-critical avionics systems.

• Perform testing and troubleshooting of mechanical and electronic systems.

• Create work instructions and standard operating procedures.

• Engage in process improvement initiatives and continuous improvement practices.

• Support both development and production programs.

• Handle and track systems for continuous material flow to manufacturing lines.

• Conduct functional and environmental testing such as thermal, acoustic, or vibration testing.

Essential Skills

• 4+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or equivalent experience.

• Experience in creating work instructions and completing time studies

• 1+ year of experience with integrating, testing, and troubleshooting mechanical and electronic systems.

• 1+ year of experience with Computer Aided Design tools such as SolidWorks or NX/Unigraphics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

• Related experience from internships or college organizations.

• Technical writing experience, including work instructions and test plans.

• Experience with various automated manufacturing processes, including assembly and test methods.

• Formal training or certification in Operational Excellence Systems (Lean, 5S, Six Sigma, etc.)

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $66.70 - $66.70/hr.
