Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate between customer groups to drive service requests to closure.

  • Review, create, and update quality improvement plans for related manufacturing processes

  • Provide initial disposition on items found to be out of tolerance

  • Drive improvements in all related manufacturing processes, including those related to products, equipment, and product quality for customers

  • Review and update Manufacturing Work Instructions

  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and customer applications to track and maintain status of service requests.

  • Create PowerPoint presentations for executive level updates/reviews.

  • Adapt to customer priority to ensure minimal disruptions in production.

  • Follow all regulatory and company procedures pertaining to technical data management.

  • Attend meetings and provide status for high priority items at higher level meetings.

  • Interface with Engineering and Sourcing to identify Suppliers meeting capacity, cost, and capability goals.

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

  • 0-3 years minimum of relevant experience working on a Manufacturing floor, preferably in the Aerospace or Electrical Engineering field.

  • Experience with Common Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering Standards:

  • Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements

  • Superior communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent business management and developmental skills

  • Team/management skills and organizational skills

  • Ability to resolve conflicting situations

  • Computer or technical knowledge

  • Effective problem-solving skills

Desired Skills:

  • BS or higher in Aerospace Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

  • Exposure to the aerospace and/or electrical industry is preferred.

  • Understanding of part qualification processes – First Article Inspections, FMEA, etc.

  • Teamcenter and SAP experience valued

  • Six Sigma certification and /or Lean Expert certification valued

  • Proficient with GD&T concepts a plus

  • Experience with Aerospace products or related products valued

  • Experience working in multicultural environments and with others of diverse backgrounds preferred.
