ABOUT THE ROLE

As a CBRE Maintenance Planner, you will provide building maintenance and office administration support to company-managed buildings.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function and is responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Analyzes work orders by size, urgency, skill set, location, complexity, and available labor and assists operations teams by issuing work orders sequentially to individual technicians or work teams.

  • Coordinates the engagement and direction of appropriate subcontractors.

  • Work closely with Technicians to stage materials, permits, subcontractors, tools, and other resources necessary to accomplish the work in the most productive manner possible.

  • Develop, maintain, and distribute workflow processes to the entire account team, detailing how work is planned, scheduled, and completed.

  • Works with the management team to optimize the mixes of planned and scheduled work, scheduled (but not planned) work, and unscheduled work.

  • Provides regular statistical reporting to the leadership team and client, showing quantities of evidence of the productive use of the workforce.

  • Uses guidelines set by management to develop, implement, and lead preventive maintenance and life cycle optimization strategies.

  • Performs annual review of preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure the current work order system library contains accurate frequencies and balanced 12-month schedules for all technicians and vendors.

  • Determines appropriate predictive maintenance tasks.

  • Trains the workforce in the use of predictive maintenance techniques.

  • Analyzes predictive maintenance data for trends.

  • Initiates corrective actions as appropriate.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below represent the required knowledge, skill, and/or ability.

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma

  • 2-3 years of job-related experience;

  • A combination of experience and education will be considered

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training and experience. The salary range is $35 - $38 per hour. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience.
