Description
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Mail Services Specialist in Redmond,WA. This role is pivotal to the operational efficiency of our organization, with responsibilities ranging from handling customer shipping requests to maintaining accurate records. This role is primarily in-person, requiring the successful candidate to be stationed at our facility.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process outgoing shipments, utilizing various courier services such as FedEx, USPS, and UPS.
• Handle retail shipping and passport photo-taking tasks efficiently.
• Ensure all shipped packages are adequately protected to prevent damage during transport.
• Conduct regular audits of delivered items against delivery invoices, approving or rejecting deliveries based on inspections.
• Maintain a meticulous daily schedule for the delivery of mail, packages, copy products, and stationery.
• Replenish mail and postage supplies as necessary, ensuring a steady workflow.
• Operate machinery and other equipment necessary for the role, adhering to safety practices at all times.
• Respond promptly to production needs, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Handle lifting tasks, with the ability to manage packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Maintain an organized record system for outbound shipments and tracking.
• Provide excellent customer service, assisting with shipping requests and inquiries.
Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites is essential
• Experience in Training and Operations is required
• Mastery of Procedures and Policy implementation
• Ability to handle Answering Inbound Calls efficiently
• Proven experience in Invoice processing and Materials Handling
• Demonstrated ability in Audit procedures and practices
• Familiarity with About Time software is a plus
• Proven experience in Auditing and On-Line operations
• Knowledge of Shipping Functions and Production processes
• Experience dealing with Vendors and handling Correspondence
• Ability to Perform Ad Hoc Financial tasks
• Retail industry experience is preferred
• Familiarity with Monitoring Tool and Warehouse Management
• Proven experience in Shipping and Deliveries
• Proficiency in Scanning Documents and operating Machinery TalentMatch®
